Add notes in iOS share sheet extension
planned

When I’m saving a link I like to add a note with it to help me remember who shared it, what resonated with me or what I thought it it might be relevant for.
So I’d love the ability to append a note when saving a link via the share sheet. As a reference, Things has a fantastic implementation of this (attached). It pulls in the page title and url and all of it is editable.
My ideal workflow would be that I could edit the full note in the share modal and backlink people and topics/relevant projects .
But just being able to joy a quick note that gets added to the notes bullet would be out of this world good.

A couple of nice features here would be:
- Option to append to daily note and not only create a new note.
- Includes the hashtag and backlink picker.

Another option to get this to work would be to add shortcuts support.

Vojtech Rinik what happened to this feature? Curious as it’s in the “planned” state since Nov 2021

Alex MacCaw: Likewise for Safari/Chrome extension too, once I highlight something, it'd be nice to be able to write in-line notes.

Vojtech Rinik Here are a couple of mockups. The first one is using the native iOS share sheet. It would be populated with the default template for this type of link.
The second one is a custom share sheet that's more like things. The first paragraph is the title of the note. I'm not sure if it's technically feasible, but you may be able to embed a mini-Reflect editor in here that has proper bullets and indentation.
Hope that helps!

Peter Reaper-Reynolds: Thanks for making these, it'll be super useful when we get to implementation!

Vojtech Rinik: fantastic! Sometimes it’s easier to show rather than tell!
A stretch goal would be to have autocomplete for tags and backlinks in the share sheet extension. I’m guessing that would be difficult on iOS with encryption but being able to change the tag type would be ace.
