AI Chat on Mobile
Jaseem Thayal Shareef
I find AI chat incredibly useful, especially for interacting with my notes and gaining new perspectives. I have shared some weekly analysis prompts with the community.
One main use case is recalling details about a person or thing when I'm away from my laptop. This often happens when I'm out and only have my iPhone. It would be incredibly effective to quickly chat with my notes from my mobile.
I shouldn't need to explain or request this feature, as you must already be working on it. However, I'm raising the feature request anyway.

I would love this. The new “Apple intelligence” siri chat UI seems like it would work well. No idea how complex that’d be to do tho 😂

My company will block this app if it includes a chat feature, please do not add. There are tons of other ai chat apps out there.

I understand, Scott Reuter. However, regarding your second point, the tons of other AI chat apps cannot interact with my personal notes in the Reflect app.

I have to admit I really do not want this to clutter the app. I find the AI chats of now to be too weak, and I have the Reflect plugin anyway to bring passages from an AI chat back into Reflect.

Sondre, I appreciate your thoughts.
I find chatting with AI about my notes incredibly valuable. As I continue to add personal notes and experiences about people, things, and emotions, chatting with my thoughts with AI helps me become a better person.
For deep reflection, I use my laptop, which is effective. However, when I want to recall details about a person, thing, or place, I often find myself out and only have my smartphone.
I don't mind if the AI chat link or button is placed deep within the app, as long as I can access that feature. This will help reduce clutter in the app.

Jaseem Thayal Shareef I guess that's a good point. If I could talk to an AI without having it filling in a bunch of text directly into my notes, but rather discuss all my content with it, that would be pretty neat. Not to mention it would grow in value as the models progress.

I agree! the chat is a good fit for the app because sometimes you just need the answer right away
Jaseem Thayal Shareef
Andres Gomez Absolutely, "right away" is the key phrase. Getting answers from our own notes about places, things, and people instantly would make me feel like I have a superpower in social situations.
