It would be very useful to be able to copy an internal link to a note that deep links on iOS and Mac so that I can refer to a note from another app on my Mac without having to make the note public.

It surprises me that linkability is deemed not that important for a linked notes app, only 7 votes at this time. 
No other Things3 or Hookmark users here?

Wouter Soubry: I agree. But for Hookmark you can get around the limitation by using universal linking.
