It's really hard to keep track of tasks from previous days if they don't show up in the current day. Craft (and some other similar daily notes apps) for example has a feature where there's a special collapsible section in the note for today called "Schedule for previous days" where you can see everything, check things off, move them to different days, etc.

Keeping track of tasks is just such a difficult thing and it's too easy for things to get lost if they aren't continuously put directly in my face. Craft even sends a daily email with overdue tasks as well which I absolutely love.
