Task due dates

I love that tasks can live outside of daily notes, but there doesn't appear to be a way for tasks to be surfaced under "Current" unless it is moved to a daily note. It'd be great to be able to attach a due date to one of those tasks, so it's surfaced on the appropriate date without moving it to that day's daily note.

I like the idea of attaching due dates to tasks and having an out of box first level task tag to see all tasks grouped by deadline and what is past due. I would like to have the task keep showing up on the daily lists as long as the due date is in the future

Ditto. It would be great to have three date types as far as I see it -
- Created (The point at which I added it to meeting notes without the task being moved - this helps with reviewing past meeting note actions) ,
- Scheduled (When I want it to show up as a reminder in day notes) ,
- Due (The latest it can be done)
